The Vacuum Cleaner

Molly's afraid of weird things. She's not afraid of snakes and spiders, nor being thrown up in the air, or climbing on things and falling on her head. But she is afraid of the vacuum cleaner. What's particulary weird about this is that she loves the vacuum cleaner and hates it all at the same time.

Whenever we're vacuuming Molly insists on holding our hand, as seen below. She's terrified of the thing. And yet, she often asks if we can vacuum.

That is so cute! I remember when Christian would always want to mow the lawn with dad. Kids melt your heart in the strangest ways sometimes :)

Maybe she just likes holding hands. :) (That is too cute.)

Isn't it lovely that just holding Mom or Dad's hand can let Molly approach something she's not sure about...

Maybe you should do what I do... never vacuum!

J has always been afraid of ours, which makes sense because it is an evil vacuum cleaner that makes horrible noises. But I must admit I love to watch him while I vacuum because he will climb to the highest point in any room to make sure he is safe (like is is really safe standing on top of the piano?) and yet he follows me from room to room only to find a safe place in that room to watch from.
